Place was clean, staff friendly, food was fast, and tasted great! The food was also halal and the owner gladly showed us the certification.
My family and I loved this nice quiet place. Staff was kind and helpful and dinner was outstanding! Definitely coming back, even though we reside in Pawleys island.
One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve experienced. Great weekday lunch buffet. Lamb, chicken, and seafood dishes have all been fantastic. Keep coming back here.
Very Satisfied. My husband and I were driving around on a Saturday night looking for: something other than a chain restaurant, open after 9 PM, had a decent vegetarian selection, plus no reservation (pretty tall order right?) We spotted Masala and were able to slip in just before they took their last table. The dining room was intimate & tastefully appointed, the wait staff very friendly. As expected, there was an extensive vegetarian menu. I ordered Chilli Paneer, an Asian Fusion dish. I would have liked the paneer to be a tad more tender, but still very good. My Husband had Baingan Bharta, an eggplant dish. Tandoori Roti and Garlic naan were hot, soft and delicious. My husband said the Lassi was the best he ever had, he’d go back just for that. Service was quick. All in All it was a home run for a spontaneous dinner venue, and we will be back to try all the other vegetarian options they have.
I really enjoyed my meal–and amazing naan bread. Vegetable pankora was great. Service was lousy tho.
Tasty preparations. Had ginger tikka chicken appetizer and it was fab. Breads were great too.
Parking was horrible since it’s in a tiny strip of shops which every store had assigned parking and masala zone had about 5 spots to choose from. Decor was really nice and intimate and the food was great….however we did not get to enjoy it because the service was horrible! We waited for 30 mins for someone to ask our drink orders. Food came out quickly once our order was placed. We ordered the food spicy and we ran out of water quickly. We asked our waiter for more water and he never came back! Never brought water, never asked how we were. Another waiter finally obliged our request 30 mins later. Great food but unless you want to stay all night for ur meal, I would order out.
