We are visiting Myrtle Beach and heard this place was good, plus there was a BOGO taco coupon in a guide at the hotel. The atmosphere is lively and fun. Kind of a bar setting but family with kids here too. We loved the queso dip and guacamole! Both were fresh and had lots of flavor. My boyfriend ordered the hungry hippo nachos and loved them. Huge portion! He just wished they had a traditional salsa. I ordered 2 taco platter. I loved the grengo taco! Ground beef with lots of fresh veggies and cheese. They wrap the tacos so they don’t get messy. My second taco was the Carolina kid. It was good but not my favorite. The BBQ was very vinegary and very wet but the slaw in it was delicious! Black beans were also very good! The server was friendly and very helpful for first timers! We will be back for sure!
Great food and atmosphere here. Creative menu, fresh food, great beer selection. Very accomdating for large groups. Excellent waitstaff. Give this place a try.
Great place to grab drinks and good food. We do always try to go during the day, because dinner time can be a little hectic there. The tacos and nachos are delicious, and they have a huge variety. I ended up trying 3 different margaritas there last time because I couldn’t decide, and they were all great. The service has been wonderful every time I’ve been there as well.
Great place to come grab a bite and a few few drinks.. As a local, it’s one of the places in Market Commons I like to stop in for tacos and beer. The craft beer selection is limited but the people working here are good to deal with. John Curtis the manager was really good too.
Baja Shrimp Taco; Kamikaze Taco; Maximo Sampler; House Margaritas; Popeye Quesedilla. Delish and not too pricey-Perfect to sit outside and enjoy MB weather with light food (and drinks if you can) that will fill you up and not break your pockets 🙂
Fantastic!!. I have been there two years in a row now and will continue to go back every year I come down to Myrtle for vacation!! There is a great variety of different things on the menu so it is easy for everyone to find something they like. Their nacho and taco selections are my favorite! I have tried four different tacos so far and the only one that fell short of my expectations was the korean BBQ one, simply because I don’t think my taste buds agreed with the ginger on it. Their mango salsa is one of the best I’ve tasted from anywhere and their tortilla chips are wonderful! I have nothing but good things to say about this place! Easily one of my favorite restaurants down in Myrtle Beach! I would highly recommend to anyone that likes Mexican food!
Quesadillas were great but a little light on the cheese. Chips were amazing and the different sauces they offered with them were great too!
