Cornbeef yuckyuck. Went for breakfast there due to high rating and close proximity to hotel. Breakfast was bad, pancakes were rubbery and corn beef hash was abominable. Hash was canned, mushy and lack luster. Omelet was just ok no better, over medium eggs and home fries were fine. Coffee watered down and waitress with person issues.
Om Nom Nom. Went here with my boyfriend both mornings we were in Myrtle Beach. We were here on the off-season, so it was slow there, but the waitresses were nice and attentive. Also, the food was good (and inexpensive) so we were able to fuel up with enough food to last us through walking all the way down to the Skywheel and back to our hotel (about 6 miles!). I’d go here again for sure.
Pancake houses in Myrtle Beach seem like dime a dozen. The hardest part is finding one without a long wait. We got here and had an average 15 minute wait. While our waitress was an endearing southern woman, the food sucked. The pancakes must be premade and then have the toppings haphazardly thrown on top. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was so also bad and half cold. Try the next place down the street.
This place never ceases to be awesome. I haven’t been here in four years, but it was still just as good when I ate there this morning. Best pancakes on the East Coast, hands down. Service gets better each time and there’s never a wait.
