Oops. Previous post. Just what the doctor ordered. Would recommend to anyone looking for a first class experience in the myrtle beach area. Thanks library staff for the hospitality!08 May, 2015People are crazy if they think this place is overpriced. The quality of food and service was by far worth every penny. The owner was unbelievably personal and was very interested in our experience and meal choices as we came from out of town. In a city full of places that serves cheap fried chicken wings and loaded tots, the filet, vegetables, table side Caesar, soup and dessert were beyond delicious and just what the doctor
Was not a good experience. Celebrating a girl friend’s special birthday. We both wanted to go here for a very long time. The oysters rockfellow were the best I have had! The Library Martini was also the best! We both got their filet special. We were both disappointed with our meat choice. Not at all like a filet we have ever had, not very tender and a bit of grissel. The vegetables were good, but the waiter didn’t get my order correct and had to back tract and my vegetables came out after another 10 minutes. Also, we ordered a second drink, three times….they were not even busy. Our waiter only had our table and one other. We ladies were going to split the check. I asked the waiter to split the check…but, take $10 off hers and add that $10 to mine. I had ordered additional vegetables. We both were paying a 20% tip each. Well, we got our bills. My total was $20 more than my friends. The waiter or the owner had no explanation as to why my check was so much more. Not a very pleasant, suppose to be….happy occasion. I guess I should have taken the difference off the tip….I wish I has thought a little faster. My check was $98+, I only wish my experience had been a pleasant one! I won’t go again.
Great place for special occasions. Good food, good service, and good atmosphere. A bit pricey for everyday dining, but a great place for special occasion when the price doesn’t matter.
Quite good but overpriced. Delicious, varied menu. Loved, loved the stylish, discreet atmosphere! Love to return.
This is a hidden gem in the hub bub of Myrtle Beach that simply exudes class. The menu is unique and the atmosphere is sexy. There are options for smaller private parties, as well. I will visit again.
Amazing!. We’ve been here several times now and the food is always AMAZING! I’ve tried quite a few items on the menu. The food here makes my palate dance! Most recent visit I had the grouper. It was delicious. I also had the She Crab soup and have been craving it ever since. The service here is always stellar. Can’t wait to go back. My husband always gets the Lobster. It is the best!FYI-This restaurant also serves Sweetbreads which is one of the things on the list of 100 Things to Eat Before You Die. I have personally tried these here and they were very good also.
