My daughter and I went for lunch and had an amazing meal. They offer a $21 per person three course lunch special that provided you several options. We selected the four cheese fondue and I highly recommend the California salad. The third course included four proteins and six dipping sauces. Our waiter Shane was informative and made excellent recommendations. I was impressed with the decor and the privacy each booth provided. Several tables had families with children and the children were very much enjoying themselves. It was a great experience and looking forward to trying the Melting Pot in Colorado Spring with my son in two weeks. Thank you Shane for the excellent service and delicious recommendations.
I love fondue! This place is laid back. We ate and talked for 2 1/2 hrs. Tried three different cheeses all unique and tasty. 2 chocolate, both ridiculous! Must stop in and try.
Atmosphere and novelty. That’s where it ends.. Service -that typical condescending dude who’s going learn the rubes a thing or two. But it was fun- unique. Great looking place. Just go for a drink and apps. Dinner is a mess of a menu and frankly not that great. And over priced. Like way over priced. Like boiled steak? My mom served fondue in the 60s. It never really caught on as anything more than a novelty. And Melting Pot is not creating a trend here. If you like to see food cook in front of you, go to a hibachi joint. It’s easier.
We went as a group of 10 for my sisters birthday. It took us close to 2 and a half hours to eat the full four courses of cheese fondue, salad, entree and chocolate. The fiesta cheese appetizer was a little gritty, like it didn’t melt down well. I could’ve done without that. The pot of cheese at the opposite end was smooth and creamy and rated much better. The salads were decent. Most of us had the French Quarter entree of Cajun seasoned steak, chicken, sausage and shrimp. It was good, but did get a little too spicy at times for my taste but my husband loves it. By far the best part was dessert. We ordered the Turtle which was chocolate with candied pecans flambd at the table. It came with marshmallows, cheesecake, fruit, brownies and more to dip. Sooo very good! And here’s a tip: if you want more of something to dip, they’ll bring it to you at no extra charge. It was a little pricey for our family of four($100 before tip). So not a normal spot for us, but it was a great experience with the kids. I asked the server about how to order for kids since entrees started near $30 and she explained they have kids plates for $10 or you could share and add side plates of meat (starting at $5). The service was fantastic. Some of the best table service I’ve had.
The Melting Pot – Great Experience. I decided to take my wife, (which, at the time was our first dinner date), to The Melting Pot. Neither her nor I had ever been. Cutting to the chase, the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and delectable food. Not to mention an extremely friendly staff. It’s definitely something everyone should experience at least once. Like I said, the food was delectable, but just wasn’t worth the money. Overall, I suggest everyone to put The Melting Pot on their bucket list as one of thier restaurants to dine at before they pass. All-in-all The Melting Pot was an overall outstanding restaurant with an intriguing atmosphere and I can honestly say it’s one place you could visit once and never forget the experience you had at The Melting Pot.
All Around Awesome. Went tonight with my mother for a birthday celebration. We had the Classic Four Course dinner and everything was fantastic. Our server Ken was informative, entertaining and friendly. He provided us with everything we needed before we needed to ask for it, the sign of a truly professional server. The food quality was perfect and selection more than adequate. More food than we could eat – by far. Honestly, we finished nothing and could have fed another person. The Flaming Turtle dessert fondue was to die for!I don’t understand the negative reviews at all, nor the comments of the restaurant being un-kid friendly, as a table just around the corner from us had two adults and six children. The manager stopped by to quality check and the host jumped out to hold the door open for us to exit. All around, an exceptional dining experience. The price was NOT too much, you get what you pay for… great food and service.
Pricey but good. Food is a bit pricey but it is good and i always leave full
