We stayed at the hotel and it was very nice. Front desk was pleasant and courteous. I thought the restaurant would have been the same. Service was awful. Waitress never came around. We had to go find her to ask for refills. She never once smiled. The food arrived. And it was extremely salty. I like salty, but this was too salty. I ate a quarter of it and my boyfriend tried to finish it. We spoke to the waitress and the chef. Nothing was done for us. So we spent close to $200 on food that was not worth it at all. Pick another restaurant. Don’t waste your time.
My husband went down Friday evening around 8:14-8:30 to get dessert for us. He said the place was pretty much empty and he had to walk around to find someone. We ordered the Blackberry Cheesecake and the Red Velvet Bundt. The entire order was wrong. Yes just 2 desserts. The blackberry sauce was on the red velvet cake and the chololate ganache was on the cheesecake. The cream cheese ice cream just tasted like vanilla… It was 9:00 by this point as he has waited so long so we didn’t go back down. I only had a couple bites of mine. The chocolate did not go well with the blackberry. The cakes tasted as if they were frozen not made in house. For the price and the quality of the resort I expected much higher quality. @
