AWESOME. Hands down my all time favorite soul food place. I typically get the baked macaroni and cheese, cornbread, perlo rice, and corn. ALL of these are the best I’ve had. Like the other posts mention this place isn’t for the atmosphere, it’s ALL about the food.
Real Soul Food for Real Folks. One of the best places in the Greater Chalreston area for lunch. Lots of food, great taste, low cost. Forgive them for not having any atmosphere, that is not what you pay for. This is not the place to go on a diet, you will put on 5 pounds just walk in the door, however I have never had a better fried pork chop, chicken perlo, or even green beans. Five star home style food.
