Food good. Service about average. Atmosphere likable. Guest relations, embarrassing. Left a pair of sun glasses and called 45 minutes later. The server got them and turned them in for me. $225 pair of oakleys. Went 2 days later to get them. They had no idea where they were. Left my name and number to be called that day. They never called. Called them 5 days later. Assistant manager informed me the gm accidently gave them away. She proceeded to tell me towards the end of the conversation that my sunglasses they had possession of and lost where the least of their worries. They actually showed me other customers belongings and asked me if they were mine when I went by to retrieve my glasses! She then said they were going to offer me some coupons…..they actually haven’t offered me anything. I told her gm needed to call me. He called. Acted like he knew hardly anything about the whole situation. I then asked him why he never called me about this incident. He told me he has been real (insert profanity) busy with work. I laughed in shock as he has no idea what my core values are and if the language would be offensive to me (it wasn’t but after spending years in the restaurant industry their lack of professionalism was bewildering me!). I then tried to explain to this man how to keep something like this happening at their establishment in the future (get a description of lost items and don’t just give them away AND LOCK THEM UP!) He told me he wasnt going to be lectured. So instead of letting a customer vent whom you have severely mishandled and who would have let the whole situation go if you would have handled it even remotely correctly your establishment decided to tell the customer yall weren’t going to be lectured! Since Community Pizza House wont be lectured. Ill break it down here. They gave away (or they were stolen) my belongings they had possession of, they told me it was the last of their worries, they cursed at me, and they wont be lectured. I have never blasted a restaurant online and have 15 years of restaurant experience. I have a fine tuned professional experience of how the customer should be treated and this is far far far from it. The best part is if they would’ve handled this like professionals I would have let it go. Its just sun glasses in the end really, but mishandling a paying customer like this? Priceless……and not in a cheery visa kind of way.

This is an easy place to eat at. Besides the fact that the Pizzas are UNREAL good.No Fru Fru here… No overly complicated Chef trying to impress you with big buzz words and high prices to match. The Steel City Pizza guys.. went simple here with their Wood Fired Concept.Very cool open kitchen experience (like you are sitting in it) Intimate dining room, casual friendly staff. One cool thing we noticed: On their Pizza Boxes they advertise the entire list of ingredients that make up their dough recipe. Its just 4 things. Its that simple…. Probably the way it should be.

NEW FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE!!!! Great food and service and a very good selection of draft beers too! They got me in and out pretty fast as I had a flight to catch. I had their lunch special which is a great value. Meaty Pizza, a House salad, and a creme soda (they have all natural sodas on draft…awesome). You can see that everything was made fresh, as it is an open kitchen.

Their Caesar salad is the best I’ve had in awhile. If you think you do not like kale, try this salad, it will change your world. The dressing was delicious and I am picky about Caesar salad dressing, and fresh beyond comparison. I’ll be back

There are not enough words I can say about this place! My husband and I went a week after their opening. Most new restaurants have kinks to work out in during this time but our visit was smooth and the food was wonderful. We were seated at the bar that wraps around the cook station. We sat right in front of the pizza bar next to the oven. We started off with a crafted black cherry soda and one of their infused waters. The menu has a wide variety of items from pastas, to weggies (sandwiches) and of course pizza. We started with the Baked Mozzarella Dip, which is currently my new most favorite thing. A combination of cheese, peppers, pesto and arugula with perfectly fired bread. We finally decided on our meals and went with the Potato and Bacon Pizza and the Crispy Chicken Weggie. The egg on my pizza came out overcooked but I still ate it and it was good (don’t worry, I have been promised another one on a return trip) The bacon has a great flavor and the combination of cheese with the garlic oil base is heavenly. The Weggie was delicious with bacon, pimento cheese and a piece of light and crispy chicken. The house mad chips were very good too. We chatted with Brandon the entire time we sat there and even got a visit from one of the partners Adam. I liked it so much I went back a couple days later for lunch with a friend and had another great experience. This time we tried the Roasted Brussels Sprouts (these are to die for!), Apple Gorgonzola Pizza and the Drunken Ziti. Again everything was wonderful. We sat in the same spot chatted with Brandon and Adam and played guess what pizza we are making. All in all, a great experience from beginning to end!
