Great lunch sandwiches. Though you will either have to take them out or eat on the patio, (no inside seating), the three specialty sandwiches each day are fresh, served on their homemade bread… and made to order…The service is friendly and helpful and the tasty samples on the counter don’t hurt sales! Beware. They are addictive.

SO Disappointing. Was really hoping for a good artisian bakery in The Circle as advertised but sorely disappointed when I managed to get in early on a weekend morning. Menu is very limited in the breakfast treat category aside from severely overpriced. If they need to make pastries that expensive, they need to be high quality and leave you wanting more not dreading finishing the one you bought because it was so $$. Three selections of items when we’re the first customers? Someone needs to read up on what a bakery is. Coffee selection is local but very limited and again, overpriced. Obviously trying to capitalize on the yuppie factor but we yuppies are smarter than Evo Craft Bakery is expecting.

EVO Bakery is the best bakery in Charleston. Their croissants are phenomenal! Light, crispy and fresh. The baguette bread revivals ones purchased on my recent trip to Paris. Freshly baked and warm right out of the oven. Great pastries also. This hard to please New Yorker gives this bakery a big thumbs up. My only comment is they should open earlier than 7:00 AM to capture folks going to work during the week.

Just what we needed!. What a great place to stop and get a fresh made pastry and coffee in the morning. Just like their sister business EVO Pizza the Craft Bakery is making awesome breads, cookies and pastries with the same skill and care that they take to make their pizzas in the restaurant out front. On the first of many visits I had a croissant stuffed with speck and provolone, an apple danish and a piping hot cup of decaf coffee (it was great that they already had it made because as a decaf drinker I usually have to wait.) The croissant was delicious with the speck and provolone fitting in well with the flakiness of the roll. The apple danish I actually didn’t eat until the next morning and it was delicious a day later, I can’t wait to have one fresh from that day. Their breads look amazing, I am sure I will be picking up either a loaf or baguette or probably both in the next day or two. Their prices are very reasonable for hand crafted pastries and breads using great ingredients, you aren’t getting anything that is loaded with preservatives and comes in a mass produced plastic wrapper from these guys. Just what the neighborhood needed!
