Watered down hot BBQ Sauce. The sauce was so bad I didn’t get to enjoy my food.If you read this management..Your sauce need a little help.To watered down and hot.
Watch out for the cheese biscuits. Surprisingly good restaurant! You get hit with a smoky aroma before you walk in the building, which just whets the appetite. The decor was every franchise restaurant, everywhere, but with classy photos of swine, barns, and BBQ on the walls!Watch out for the little cheese biscuits they start you off with. They’re more like cupcakes and it’s hard to stop popping them in your mouth! You can even buy a mix from the restaurant if you want to make them at home. The pulled pork was moist, and the sauces were definitely on the tangy side. I don’t really consider the sauce to be true South Carolina, which is usually more of a mustard base, but it was tasty. The brisket was well cooked, but on the sandwich portion be careful if you don’t like sauce because they drown the plate in it.Sides were all enjoyable. The side salad is fresh, and the macaroni and cheese is homemade and is very thick and quite tasty. The kids menu has a good selection, too. I would go again!
Holy sweet potato casserole!! Everything was really awesome not to mention $4 margaritas!!!
First night in Charleston so came here for a late easy dinner. It was amazing!! Ribs cooked to perfection!! Yummy sides and Mexican beer. What more can you want??
Well after a long drive we ended up here for a BBQ diner. Was a little worried judging by the neg. reveiws but we did get fast service. The bbq was good and the portions were good. The large beer was good deal but the mixed drink was really skimpy for the price. Overall OK for a franchise type place.
