My first trip here, Sunday 1/12/17, and I was pleased with everything. Very quaint and clean and they even have some semi-private booths where you can be kind of cut off from everyone else. The service is excellent and the waiter was very attentive. There wasn’t a crowd by any means but I just give credit where it’s due. Food came quickly and it was all delicious. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone. If there’s one down side, it’s that the menu is large which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

I was very disappointed. I have heard such good things about the food at Madra Rue on East Montague and decided to try it out. I was craving Stew so I ordered a bowl. When I got back to my office to eat it, It was disgusting, very little vegetables or meat, it was mainly gravy and extremely salty, it was impossible to eat. I managed to dig out 4 small pieces of carrot and 3 tiny pieces of meat. Luckily there was 6 pieces of diced potatoes. The French Fries were limp. I was so expectingbetter food then what I received. I would definitely not recommend going to Madra Rue or at least not ordering the stew. I know that I will not be going back there.

Went last night (Dec 2), and had great service and fabulous food. The server talked me into a super beer/cheese soup that I am glad I tried, wow was it good! Wife and I had Fish & Chips that was also super. You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy this place. They have these cozy seating areas for those of you that like your privacy. Highly suggest you try it!

A great place to hang out with friends, watch soccer and eat good food. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve been happy with the service and food. Last time I went for brunch I had an awesome Bloody Mary and a huge helping of Biscuits & Gravy.

Shepherd’s Pie. Thick creamy potatoes atop a hearty ground beef mixture with peas, onion, and potato. Cheese is a must!
