We went into the restaurant after one of the Wednesday Wine Strolls. We were quickly seated and served drinks. We just ordered a couple of appetizers and salads to share. Service was a little sparse and the food was ok. Nothing to really write home about. I was expecting so much more. Not sure if it was because it was a little later and they were wanting to wrap things up or if it was an off night. The Pork and Beans was just dry pork belly with what tasted like canned baked beans. The slaw was the stand out on this dish. The Polenta and Mushrooms were a little mushy. The salad was good as was the She Crab Soup. For the price I expect more at all hours… I might try again maybe earlier in the evening…
Perfection.. My husband and I both agreed that the food here was the best we have eaten! I had the hanger steak dish and my husband had pork chop. We also had a carrot and ginger soup that was out of this world! And the pecan pie was a perfect ending to our meal! Highly recommend!!!
