Our daughter wanted to go here for her birthday, I’m not a fan but what can I do? Started with nice server but went downhill fast, forgotten bar drinks we had to ask for 20 min later, cold bread, watched 2 larger parties that came in well after we did get their food and then ours wondered out …. cold of course. How can a place that’s supposed to specialize in Italian ruin basic spaghetti with marinara, there was so much water it could have been classified as soup, plus absolutely zero flavor. I took 2 bites covered it with my napkin and said enough of that crap. Server didn’t seem to care when I told her and no manager. So at least our daughter had a good time but the rest was a horrible experience. I’ll draw the line next year, maybe Golden Corral has better Italian.

Good service. I always love Olive garden, on this visit there were a lot of things that could have ruined the visit but the staff was really good. They ran out of breadsticks but we’re really quick to offer us different bread that they had on hand. My boyfriend ordered spaghetti with the chicken meatballs and they ended up not having them prepped and he had to get beef ones so they comp’d our appetizer. Really good food as always.
Good food (zuppa and salad) but the waitress brought the bill when we just got started eating. What’s up with that? She seemed put out she had to bring us food.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Olive Garden but the one in North Charleston has THE worst service EVER!!!! We go there all the time but not ONCE have we had a memorable service experience. I have to BEG my boyfriend to go because the service is so slack. Come on, I know the policy is that each server only gets like a 4 table section so why is the service so bad?
GOOD FOOD, BAD P.R.. Here is a perfect example of a restaurant with consistently good food which is turning away customers with their policy of making the restaurant ALWAYS look ;busy by closing down certain tables to create a line in the lobby. We have been there umteen times when there is plenty of room in the restaurant for seating… and they say no problem with enough servers, but a line that takes 10-20 minutes to clear in the lobby,. We have stopped going there at lunch because if you are on a limited lunch hour, you simply cant get in and out within an hour… Sorry cause we love your food! FIX THIS.
SALAD!!!. I love love love the salad and dressing! Most of the entrees I’ve tried are average to above average, and a lot of your experience depends on your waiter or waitress, and how busy it is. The portions are very large and I’m a regular customer! I’d choose it over Carrabba’s any day for the price and quality.
