Our waiter was good, not quite great, but he did check in on time and not overbearing. He sang with the pianist. The food was good, but not quite great. I would definitely come here again!

Wonderful place!. I think this is a great place. I hadn’t been there in over a year because I wasn’t impressed with the previous owner.Being Italian and very picking its hard to find good Italian food. I think that the new management has done wonders for the food. The owners are very nice. They are actually from Itally. You won’t get any more authentic than that. Most people in America are accustomed to Americanized Itailian, and are just fine with a frozen lasagna or jar of ragoo and over cooked spaghetti. I have been in with family and friends many times in the last few months and no-one was ever disappointed with the food or service. Try it for yourself and make your own opinion.

Disappointed for daughter’s birthday dinner!!!!!. I read all the reviews and seen the ones that people were disappointed but we decided to go anyway. The staff was out front sweeping as I went up to him he said they were close but I made a 4 o’clock reservation said they were close till 5 or 6 . The manager came out took my cake and said to come in. The place was empty candles on table were not lite, my entree was luke warm and my guess food the same. I wont be returning I guess he tried but at the expense of my family, my daughter’s birthday dinner was ruin. Go with caution.

La Fontana North Charleston, SC. I just read some of the reviews. Such non-sense. This place is great. If the people who wrote the bad reviews had actually ate at this place they would not have send anything bad. I have been here lots of times and its always been great. They have the best pizza in Charleston……………………..

Don’t Waste Your Time!!!!. I use to be a regular at La Fontana s in N. Charleston back when the management was the same as the Savannah Highway location. I stopped patronizing for the following reasons.1. Theyve hired an all new staff (Bless their hearts but most of them dont know what they are doing/unprofessional)2. The last two times Ive eaten there the employees (Including the manager) were sitting in front of the building smoking. 3. The manager I dont know his name (Tall, with black hair and a thick accent) is RUDE he doesnt know how to properly communicate with customers. Hes unprofessional and has an aggressive/agitated disposition. 4. The quality of the food has depreciated since they switched owners (I ordered a Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, not only did it take 20 min. to get my food it was cold when I got it, the manager was unprofessional and rude when I complained about my food. 5. The establishment isnt kept as clean as what it used to be (Trash/crumbs on the floor, dirty bathrooms, etc). Long story short dont waste your time go someplace else, I hate writing negative reviews about businesses but my last experience with them left a bad taste in my mouth.

Family friendly, huge portions, great service, and delicious! We came because of location to hotel after a 12 hour drive. Staff friendly, got appetizer out in 5 minutes (calamari great). We had cheese ravioli with marinara so good and a kid pleaser, 4 cheese calzones huge and cooked right, carnivore pizza perfect for my meat loving husband and the crust was crispy and chewy and just plain good! Eggplant parmesan was my dish and I enjoyed it very much! I can’t understand why people would wait at caravans or olive garden when this gem is around the corner!
