  Not bad not great! Worth the price and very friendly staff.I first ordered the 3 meat combo hoping to get some smoked brisket but was told we don’t do that here… sad as you know I don’t consider it a BBQ joint without brisket… I wound up with a 2 meat combo double pork with greens and coleslaw I was happy even considering I didn’t have any brisket….The pork comes 2 ways with sauce and without. I had mine without.The pork was moist and flavorful I put a little vinegar on it and it made a difference. This pork is worth the stop it was so good.The greens were wonderful. I know most people can take them or leave them when it comes to greens but you won’t go wrong if you take them here.The coleslaw was ok I’ve had better I have had worse. It was chopped and creamy and flavorful all things a good coleslaw should be but I just felt it was missing that one thing to put it over the edge.I would come back if I was in the mood for good Pork.www.thepettransporterguy.com

  Good food, bad location. This place is sooo much better than Duke’s barbecue. However, Duke’s has bee in Ridgeland for so long, that’s a go to for old timers and new comers. The barbecue is tasty and not dry, the macaroni is EXCELLENT and I don’t like collard greens, however, I love their greens. The staff is extremely friendly and you get your money worth here. One barbecue plate can easily feed 2-3 people.
