Not as good as I would have hoped….. Tonight I ate at Big Wok II for the first time. To say the least, I was dissapointed. The Seafood meal was filled with seafood, however, the flavor was lacking and I really didn’t enjoy it. I felt like I should have gotten a $6.00 bag of shrimp along with a $2.00 bag of broccoli from the grocery store and cooked it myself. I think what bothered me the most is that I paid more than 12 bucks for the meal. I didn’t even want anymore after the first few bites. And there was also some type of gel inside the bowl that I threw away, just hoping that it was supposed to be there. On the bright side, the cook did seem nice. He smiled at me when he handed me the meal. It was also cooked to order, which is great. However, I only wish that I would have actually enjoyed the meal. Furthermore, I debated about taking it back to let them know. I went ahead and did so at the advice of my husband — especially due to the price of the take out $14.79 with the drink. So, I took it back. I was calm, not aggressive at all. However, the lady at the counter was on guard. She acted as though because most of the seafood was gone (which I only ate because it was the best tasting part of this bland meal) that I was up to some type of scam. I just told her I only wanted her to know how I felt and I left. So, it’s pretty safe to say, no more Big Wok II for me.

Will Not Honor Certificate. I called to see if the Restaurant.com certificates were good for take-out or dine-in only. They stated they have stopped taking the certificates a long time ago and had cancel with Restaurant.com (about 4-5 months ago). The certificate was purchase in 12/2012. They will not honor the Restaurant.com certificates, regardless of when it was purchase.
Hands down, the best general tso’s chicken I’ve ever had. Great prices, fast service, and not greasy like a lot of takeout. Great find!
