DO NOT GO HERE!. I recently moved to rock hill and had already tried one hibachi place and loved it. I figured id give this place a try because its closer to my house…i should have went to Shomars or McCalister instead, or read the reviews. If you want to pay alot of money for small portions this is the place for you. I was so disappointed when i got my food. The chicken was dry and the fried rice is just cooked white rice with soy sauce. The vegetables were just as dry. Went to try and explain that i did not want the food but my money back and pretty much got cursed out in whatever native tongue the cook spoke. Needless to say i will not be returning. I’ll stick with jing jings for my hibachi needs.
Stay Away!. This is the worst food I have had in a long time. The chicken is overcooked and dry. They don’t give you enough meat, I watched the cook pick and allowance out the meat strips in three prepared dishes leaving very small portions in each dish. The young man (cashier) have a attitude and they don’t under English therefore have a attitude when you try to explain what you want. They messed up my husband’s order and he had to go ask for his meal which was just sitting on the side. They can not handle a high volume of orders. Please, Please, Please save your money and time. This is not a good representative of quality Hibachi food.
Not worth the price you pay. Very small portion very high price. You can’t even see them make it.
Had the teriyaki chicken with mixed vegetables and steamed rice. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Much better tasting than some of the other Japanese express places here. The price however was a little high so I’m no sure why people say it’s cheap. After tax you are going to pay over $7 even for the cheapest entree. But I’ll still go back.
Fried Rice and Sesame Chicken. I am a huge fan of fried rice, but unfortunately the fried rice here was bland. The chicken was very very good and moist and cooked very well. But was not a fan of the rice unfortunately.
Great food, large portions, cheap prices, and a Winthrop student 10% discount (just bring your ID). A surefire formula for win and awesome
What gives?. Stuck between McAllisters and Danato’s Pizza most people seem to ignore this place. I can tell you that their Hibachi steak bowls are great. Especially with the spicy chili. Although I wouldn’t call the sushi out of this world it’s more than satisfactory as well. Great place for a quick meal in Rock Hill. Easy on the pocket as well.
