Great food but very disappointing service!. My husband I order out from this restaurant once a week or so because the food is super! The service, however, is terrible! When we ate at the restaurant one evening, and the service was really bad, so we decided to do take out in the future. Every single time since then, something is ALWAYS wrong with our order! Something is usually missing when we get it home or last night we were overcharged for what was supposed to be a special. I really hope this restaurant gets it together! I really hate to say this but we will no longer be supporting them with our business. Enough is enough.
Last Saturday (march 15) I went to ledos for probably the third time in my life. I noticed the place was pretty crowded and they had a pretty good band going. I had Hannah Widner as a waitress and I can’t say enough good things about her. She was knowledgable about the menu, she was very personable, and has the brightest smile. She was pretty busy but did not let that in the way of giving me and my husband the attention we needed. I was having a bad day until I met this young lady. She should receive all this praise because I will be going back thanks to her personality and charisma. Thank God there’s still classy waitresses with manners out there.
Needed a Place Like This – Thumbs Up. The pizza is amazing (so was the other food), the service is good and the atmosphere can not be beat. I have been to my share of Ledo Pizza places (a dozen of them – I am from the mid-atlantic where it originated) and this one has a different feel, in a great way. The addition of the Pub to Ledo Pizza is genius. I noticed a mix of what were clearly regulars and also those that are just learning about the place. One of things that set this one above the others was the owner, he came by to check in to see how things were, had a short conversation and then kept catching a look every once in a while to see if anything might be needed – which there was not as the server took good care of the table. This is a great place to watch sports, catch up with old friends, make new friends and just relax while having good food. The beer selection is unique and abundant. Glad I found your unique Ledo location. I will travel the long distance to frequent this establishment whenever I can. Thanks for this southern location.
Decent beer selection, mostly good food. I’ve been here several times now and the pizza is tasty and there’s a decent beer selection, not stellar but up and coming. This location seemed cursed to failure by all the restaurants that have died here, but Ledo’s have put some money and a bunch of tv’s and some real energy into it and it’s a fun place to go eat. 4/5 of the meals have been good here with the exception of one that tasted like lasagna that somebody reheated in the microwave and 1 takeout experience where they forgot to put in my to go order until I showed up 20 minutes later ready for pickup.
Good pizza, but…. My husband and I tried Ledo’s one Friday evening after it opened. He is from New York and is always searching for a pizza that even slightly resembles what he used to eat up there. We ordered the fried ravioli and an 18-inch Rock Star Pizza (the one with goat cheese and prosciutto). The fried ravioli was OK, but the pizza was very good. The bleu cheese was also the right amount of chunky.However, a friend ordered the lasagna. When another friend asked for ricotta cheese, they were told Ledo’s didn’t have any. However, the lasagna has ricotta. When questioned about this, the waitress informed our friends that the lasagna is Stouffer’s and bought from the freezer section at a grocery store. $9 for a $3 Stouffer’s lasagna? Don’t think so.As much as I enjoyed the pizza, this information has made me question how much of Ledo’s is home-made and will make me hesitant to try again.
Very Good. My wife, children, and I had dinner last night at Ledo’s for the first time. We heard several people talking around town about how good the pizza and salads are. We were not disappointed. We had pizza, bread sticks, Stromboli, and a salad. Very good food and very good service. The restaurant is very clean and very nice inside. The separate take-out area is a nice touch. The manager is a very nice gentlemen who came around to check on us. A place my family and I will return to.
