Called ahead, they reserved a specific table for us and seated us right away. Had a decent selection of alcoholic drinks. Server was great, very nice …

Best place to go to get authentic Italian food- it's fresh and hot every time . Best thing about Luigi's is that they are family owned and operated.…

Awesome Experience. We split the Lasagna. Wow! Hot and good to the last bite…
Start with the sauce…. The sauce is WAY TOO sweet and so all over everything; it my veal inedible. The pasta looked like it had been swimming in the sauce since the day before. It was 18 bucks for veal parm at lunch (off the dinner menu in fairness to the restaurant), and the veal was like a piece of printer paper breaded and fried. There was lots of it, and lots of pasta and sauce, but so what? An abundance of breading and lousy sauce and $1.00 per pound pasta, with a hint of veal to be found somewhere if I had a treasure map!! I have NEVER seen veal that thin, and I order scaloppini and veal cutlet all the time! Doggie bag? I don’t think so! I love my dogs and would never expose them to something this bad. You want Italian? Go to Portofino’s in Arsley in Charlotte or I think they have one in Ballantyne. Go to Olive Garden if you must! This is the farthest thing from Italian I have ever eaten. I would never go there again, and should have known something was up when only two other tables of two people were seated all the way through lunch. The best two things about lunch were the bread sticks and the check… both of which i couldn’t wait to address and walk away from as fast as I could.
Great Food and Service. Half of the electricity was out when we visited because of a storm, but the service and food were still awesome! Very friendly staff. App, salad, and entree – very impressive. Will definitely be back!
Bring on Chef Robert Irvine. This place seems like the perfect place for one of those Restaurant: Impossible shows. By far the best part of our dinner was our waitress, who was quite attentive and pleasant. The salad was ok, the breadsticks entirely stale and dry, and the chicken marsala was weirdly reminiscent of chinese buffet orange chicken. The lasagna was ok – nothing to write home about but it tasted fine, if you like lots of ricotta. We did get to overhear the kitchen staff vigorously trying to sell a customer a car, while another waitress carrying her baby around the restaurant looked on.
Unable to be seated until we got hostess attention and then never even saw a server so we walked out
STARVING!. I just had my worst dining experience ever! After 2 hours, all we had were our tiny salads. They couldn’t even bring out a bowl of soup to the table and then had the nerve to give us the excuse that every order was made to order – seriously, a bowl of soup? I realize that they were busy, but nobody should have to wait 2 hours to be served. We had to have our meals boxed up to go and the Manager was just full of excuses instead of apologies. We will never return.
Mr. Cincinati. Maybe you should go to Taco Bell , they are for people like you EL CHEAPO !!! The food is great at Luidgi’s and Sons so order your wife a meal too instead of complaining about the $2.00 extra for sharing !!! just sayin
