There are much better pizza delivery joints in Rock Hill in my opinion. Papa John’s sauce is too sweet for my taste and overall not a very good value for the money.
Not sure about delivery, always do takeout. Anyway, it’s a busy place. phones ringing every time I’m there. However, one complaint. Doesn’t matter I pay full price or using promo codes, toppings are always low or missing. I understands if I use promo, you give me less, but if I pay 17 bucks for a pizza, you better load it up.
Chicken strips! I mean, really?. It’s a long time since I ordered Papa Johns pizza and having seen the chicken strips in the on line add, decided to get an order to go with our pizza. OMG, they were pathetic or should I say, are pathetic. Haven’t been able to bring myself to eat them yet. Don’t get these thinking they will be like KFC’s or McD’s, ‘cos they ain’t.Pizza was OK.
If you plan on ordering from this location, DO NOT plan to pick it up yourself. I have placed multiple orders for carryout and been initially informed that said orders would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I would wait at least 15 minutes before leaving my apartment, only to arrive at the store to wait for an additional 30 minutes for my food. On one of these occasions, I ended up being told that the crew hadn’t even starting making my order–an hour and 15 minutes after I had placed my order for two thin crust pizzas. I have worked in the pizza delivery business throughout my high school and college careers and know that this location’s lack of customer service is a poor attempt in maintaining customer loyalty.
