Me da wife and kids hit the Steak n Shake tonight!! Good move. My first trip ever to a Steak n Shake and I’ll be back for sure. I got a chili cheese dog and a double cheese burger….both were awesome. I dig the tiny fries!! This place is Nice!! 5 out of 5
The service was good thanks to Karen, however the meat on my double cheese burger literally was so thin you could see through it.
Worst service ever. It took 20 minutes to be seated and twice as long to get food. It took so long to get our shakes we actually thought they were in the back milking the cows. The worst part was there was no manager. No one there took pride in the position of manager and led the staff. No one cared that it took that long to be seated. No one cared that people were leaving because of the long wait to be seated. No one cared how long it took to get a milkshake. If management continues like this, Steak ‘n Shake will be closed before the end of the year. Not that a manager would care. I just can’t imagine such horrible service being the normal protocol here. I feel the main reason for such poor service is lack of leadership.
Steak and Wait. What a disaster this outing was. We went to grab a quick bite. Two other tables occupied, maybe seven people total. More staff than customers. We waited for over half an hour only to receive cold food. The kids like the shakes, but I’m going back. Waste of time and money. Oh, and don’t play the claw machine as you leave. Just throw your money on the floor. it will save you a little time and you will get the same result.
