Good service, great quality of food, reasonable prices. Their grits are creamy and delish. Their omelettes are very satisfying. Their dining area is small for the amount of business they have so get there early or you’ll have to wait awhile.

Great Breakfast. Probably my favorite place in Rock Hill. Excellent selection, food, prices, and service. The grits are amazing.

Enjoyed. Good food. Great service. Big portions. Fair prices. I liked very much and if I past through again will stop. So glad we found. I got eggs over cheese grits – coffee good too.

June visit. I visited the Yolk on Tuesday morning at 9am, there was plenty of seating available and no wait. My date and I thoroughly enjoyed our choices, his was the 2 egg special while I chose the Eggs Benedict. the hashbrowns were perfect, the hollandaise sauce just lemony enough. i will return.

Owner snobbish toward Customers. Witnessed at a table near by owner being rude towards two female customers asking about the high prices of the menu items. Must have been first time customers. Was listening in to conversation prior when the bill was received. Owner went to table, acting sassy toward the two female customers, and took the bill to the register. The customers got confused and was told to pay at the register. Was uncomfortable site.

Only One Word … Outstanding. This restaurant has been on my wishlist for a period of time but let’s face it, it’s a 40 miles drive from my home and I’m not in Rock Hill that often. I was in Rock Hill this morning and made a point of stopping by for breakfast. When you walk it, your first impression is that it is a small place and it’s going to be awhile before you get seated and served. Not the case at all. While it is small, it is one of the best run restaurants I have run across in a long time. The management is excellent and the staff runs on an energy level that is contagious even to the customers. There is an excite in the air and you can feel it.Walked in and entered my own name on the wait list. The wait list was checked right after I had written down my name and was given the option of being seated at the bar immediately or waiting a couple of minutes for a booth or table. I chose the bar because you can watch the food being prepared from that vantage. There is no wasted motion. Immediately after I was seated, someone took my drink order and shortly thereafter, my breakfast order.I ordered the Meat and Greet Omlette with Tennessee Fries (small potato cubes fried like French Fries) along with coffee. The coffee was there almost immediately quickly followed my meal. The meal was great. Very tasty, good combination of meats and the fries, while different, were very good. The Coffee is great and pulls everything together.I pointed out that everything is run like clockwork and it’s like everything is on fast forward. That is true but at no time does the customer ever feel like they are rushed. That’s what well managed restaurants should strive for but few are able to pull it off. This one does and does it well. How does they do it? The owners are very engaged with a fine eye to detail and at the same time, constantly teaching and mentoring the rest of the staff.A little hard to find but it is well worth the effort to find it. For those traveling through on I-77, probably about 7-8 minutes off the Interstate but worth the effor to find. Strongly recommend and by the way, while it is 40 miles from home, I’ve found a reason to occassionally drive that 40 miles.
