Had some incredible French onion soup – the best Ive had in years! Next I ordered the nitty gritty grinder roast beef sub – on my it was the most tender roast beef Ive ever had – served with au jus in a biggie roll that was extremely soft – definitely an incredible hoagie – will go back for sure! Great staff I will definitely go back again!
They seem famous for their casseroles since 8 choices were on the menu but I opted for the Nitty Gritty Grinder. It was great- like a philly! But no side is offered with it. A co-worker orders the Club on a white Hoagie and it looked tasty as it was served hot! We ended up ordering a side of fries and Onion Rings and the Onion rings were crispy and cooked perfect.
Monday, November 30, 2015Came here for the first time for a lunch meeting with my coworkers. Our boss recommend it on a cold rainy day because she said they have fantastic casseroles…so we decided to give it a try.Everything was delicious! I started with a cup of French onion soup that tasted homemade…I thought I tasted a hint of sherry…just how I make it at home! Then I got the Ribi steak sandwitch. I was imagining shaved Ribi on a hoagie roll like a cheese steak. I was pleasantly wrong…what came out was an actual full piece of steak on a Kizer bun…I should have figured it out since the waitress asked me how I wanted it prepared. I had it mid-Rare with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. Probably the most tender piece of steak I’ve had out in a long time, and had to be over the 4oz’s the menu said it weighed! The wait staff was quick, efficient, friendly, and on top of our drinks like white on rice! Will definitely be back especially being right down the block from the office!
