The Best Mexican food in Simpsonville. That’s right, I said it. La Tapatia is the best in town, by a pretty wide margin. They regularly feature authentic Mexican dishes and soups that I’ve never seen anywhere else in the upstate, and everything I’ve ever had there has been delicious. the service has consistently been very good, and the portions are adequately sized. Try the beef tongue tacos if you’re feeling adventurous, or take it easy with some of the best chimichangas I’ve had in recent memory.

Good basic mexican restaurant. I was in Simpsonville tonight on business, stopped in here for a late dinner, and loved it. It’s a little hard to find based on google maps directions (at the end of a strip mall), but it’s worth the search. I got the Enchiladas Acapulco, which is basically two cheese enchiladas with a half order of fajitas thrown on top. Delicious. The poster below who mentioned the spice might be correct, this place seems to be a little spicier than most, but I was impressed with the prices, service, and food and I like it spicy. If I’m ever back in town, I’ll be back here.
Really good place and service.. I was visiting here for work for 2 days. Chose this restaurant on a whim the first night. Really liked it and went back the second night with others. Good chips and salsa and good service.
