I highly recommend The Mad Cuban. You can smell the flavor as soon as you walk in the door. This place offers authentic Cuban style food. If your going for lunch, try to get there before noon, because the line will be long with everyone trying to get the best lunch Simpsonville had to offer. I recommend the steak sandwich one bananas. I would have never thought of putting plantains on a steak sandwich, but let me just say that it was INCREDIBLE!Enjoy!!!

Surprised at positive reviews. I have eaten tons of cuban dishes, cooked by Cuban families at home and while these folks are clearly hispanic, I wasn’t impressed with their restaurant. I never would’ve thought it would’ve turned out this way with how much I eat and love Cuban food. At least the experience would be acceptable right?Food was acceptable, dry, and bland. Americanized a little simply due to the ingredients they’re using, but the service was horrible. Language barrier caused incorrect order even though I pointed on the menu what I wanted, three opportunities for them to view and correct it, couldn’t flag an employee down, they watched me throw my entire meal out and they didn’t care. Place wasn’t the cleanest in the kitchen (open concept allows full view of kitchen). Incorrect orders happen, it’s okay. Poor management, cleanliness, and customer service is what will drive me to not go back. Top of the price point too, $11 total for one sandwich, a water, and a bad experience.

Better than any chain restaurant on Fairview. The food is seved hot and fresh. The original Cuban is such a good sandwich. Service is always friendly. Love this place.
