Good coffee….rude employee. I just moved to Duncan from Charleston, SC. I was excited to see that I was so close to a coffee shop! I went in today and started to look at the drink menu behind the counter. An older lady with glasses rudely asked me if I was there for lunch and I told her I just wanted a coffee. She stood there with her hand on her hips like I was taking forever….there were only two people in there sitting down and eating. When I went to go pay, she rang up my order and then looked at me like I was stupid. I realized she wasn’t going to tell me my total, I had to look. The total was $3.51 and she seemed mad that I gave her a $10. She grabbed a penny from the tip jar so she would only have to give me back two quarters. She didn’t even give me my change back….she slammed it down on the counter!!!!!!! So rude. The coffee was great, but I will never go back.
I like the food at this restaurant. However the lady that always checks me out is very rude. It makes it hard to dine somewhere when staff is unfriendly. I think most busnisess seem to forget without customers there would be no place of business.
