My favorite cupcake shop in SC. Everytime I come to SC to shoot a wedding or visit with family this is a MUST stop on my list!! Not just your ordinary cupcake shop…. very interesting cupcakes. They are more like cake than ‘airy’ cupcakes. You will be FILLED by just eating one…. we always get a dozen though and eat one in the morning and one at night until they are all gone!! Super yummy.
Cakehead Bakeshop has Soul. Cupcakes, scones, muffins, mini-cakes — it’s hard to choose. The cupcake flavors are inventive (Candied Apple, Red Velvet, Choolate-covered Strawberry, Sweet & Salty, Cate Cake & Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup are just a few), the icing is the best I have ever tasted and the cake part is melt-in-your-mouth. I had the best chocolate chip cookie there I have ever eaten.
Yummy!. We’re big fans of Cakehead. The baked goods are delicious! My office is always excited when I pick up a dozen cupcakes as an afternoon treat.
Delicious!!. The homemade oatmeal cream pies are so good and every cupcake I’ve ever had has been absolutely delicious! I love the variety and the unique flavors!
Delicious!. I have had several things from the Cakehead Bakeshop and they were all awesome. My new favorite is the Boston Creme Cupcake. It was heavenly!
Small bakery with interesting cupcakes;limited hours, call first
Buy ‘Em by the Dozen!. Needed a birthday cake but couldn’t decide on just one flavor ~ so, got 3 each of 4 cupcake flavors and even with 9 people, everybody was more than happy! 😉
