A friend of mine was going out to celebrate a birthday with friends when they were headed to the usual hangout spot which was Delaney’s. upon trying to enter their was an issue at the front door. One of the servers recognized the regulars and agreed to bring them in but was met by management. Management then proceeded to make rude comments and be uncivil towards my friends. When they left they were met by police and then told they were banned from the premises for 5 years. When they reached out to management to find out why they were treated so harshley and banned they never got a response. This used to be my regular hang out spot but after this i wouldnt give this establishment a dime of my money and will make sure others know how unprofessional management is. The owners are just as unprofessional as the staff.

Love it! Delaney’s Irish Pub has a fantastic selection of draft beers and a ton of bottled selections as well. I usually come for the beer, so I haven’t tried much of the food. The cheese fries, chips and queso, and fried mushrooms have all been delicious. The atmosphere is really laid back and comfortable. Great location on the square.

Good beer, but a rude, dishonest red headed male bartender changed my attitude about this place. The worst bartender I have ever had. Since I love my hometown, my wife and will try somewhere else next time, where locals from Spartanburg work and they have a moral code.
The food is not good. It is too crowded. It is too loud. It is too smokey. Bartenders ALWAYS have HORRIBLE attitudes.
