Decor and ambience is confusing. We had a reservation but were sat at a booth next to bar area so people basically stood in front of our booth talking the whole meal. Ribeye with Ancho Chili rub and Tequila sauce was fantastic- just not MR as he ordered. Raw oysters were plump and clean! Scallops with grit cake were cooked with a nice sear.
So disappointed. When we moved to Spartanburg, we were encouraged to try Dudley’s. Tonight we tried their wings……it was beyond disappointing. The fries, fried pickles and sauces were great. Everything was cooked correctly and tasted great, until the wings. We ordered Habanero Peach and Garlic Parmesan wings. The Habanero Peach wings did not have any taste and were soggy. They looked like pured peaches had been rubbed on breaded wings. The Garlic wings did not taste like garlic, luckily blue cheese dressing will cover a myriad of flaws.
The best dinning experience I’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back.
