  Unbelievable!!! And by that I mean terrible!. My family and I will never go to the Spartanburg location ever again. The Asheville NC location is always on point with a happy and friendly staff, but this one has a terrible kitchen. The staff back there were obviously unhappy and didn’t care what they were serving tonight. Let me start by saying that we had a young waitress (Sandra maybe?) that was very nice and tried to please. We ordered the Pacific Rim pizza w/ the oil and garlic base. I have two little picky kids and since they wouldn’t make the pizza half, and then 2 quarters…only half and half, I decided to have the jalapenos on the side and put onions only on half the pizza. It took a while for the pizza to come and when it did, we were told they were out of jalapenos. Then, we start eating the pizza to find out there were ZERO onions on the pizza either. The young girl offered to bring another topping by itself or even to grill some onions, but anyone who knows anything about pizza knows that it’s when the pizza bakes with all the toppings on it that the flavors fuse together. Otherwise, it’s a pizza with onion flavor on top. I used to cook in 2 Italian restaurants and made a billion pizzas, not to mention mgmt for a large pizza chain in the past. No bueno. At this point, after a watered down drink and the pizza I had lost my appetite. I won’t say the pizza didn’t taste good. The flavor was good. My kids loved theirs except 1 kid had to pick some toppings off because they wouldn’t do a 1/4 her way. The wife and I were over it. I would have just ordered a different pizza. I even turned down the make of a small pizza with the onion on it. I simply asked the young girl if they could just take off the cost of the 2 toppings that were missing and I would have gotten over it and gone home hungry. I was told that was not possible. I just asked for the check so I could get the heck out of there. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the mgr who was offering us other things, even for dessert. Which my kids didn’t need before bed and made my little one throw a fit that I had to control. Not cool. FInally I said, you know what, just take something off the bill and let’s be done with it. To which I was offered $6 off the bill and I said fine, let’s go. My wife decided she was really hungry and wanted her onions and $6 wasn’t going to cut it, so she asked for the small remake of the original pizza with the onions. So she gets this tiny pizza home to open the box and find out that not only does it have RED SAUCE instead of the oil and garlic, but smells really really weird. Hard to explain the smell but kinda like an area of dirty dishes and chemical. (sometimes pizza stones stink so IDK) Anyways, the wife refuses to eat it so it was all for nothing. I ate a piece of it and have a wicked stomach ache now. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I noticed another table had to send a pizza back for something also. What a way to ruin the name of a good company.

  This place doesn’t even deserve one star! Visited 12/29/16 for dinner, but we left after an hour without any food or service! After taking our order the waitress never came by to ask if we needed anything. We sat directly in front of the kitchen and for an hour we watched and listened to the horseplay from the employees. We stood to put our coats on to leave and the waitress then decided to come and ask if we needed anything………..as if it were the first time she had seen us! We went to the counter to pay for our beverages and make our complaint known, but we should have saved our breath. They took our money and offered no apology. I wish I had read the reviews on this website before visiting, seems the long wait time for your food is the norm. This was about our 4th visit and the service has never been great, but the food was good enough for us to return (Venus Pie was actually our first choice, but they were closed.) We will never go back. The prices are very high and it’s not worth the aggravation.
