This is pretty nasty stuff. I wouldn’t trust the sushi. The chinese food is pretty bad. The sweet tea tastes like sugar water. It took 20 minutes for it to get through my digestive system and didn’t feel good after that. Will not return.
Local Resident. 1390 Broad St Hibachi: Pros: My family and I ate at this restaurant twice now. Both times I found an excellent variety of foods to choose from and all the utensils were clean as was the bathroom. The buffet price is very reasonable for such a great selection. The waiting staff at the door and the manager are super nice and the manager gave us a special senior discount even though we’re not seniors. Cons: The bad part were the waitresses. During both visits the waitresses did not stop by the table to ask us if we needed refills for our drinks. This isn’t too bad but here’s the outright shock…. in the second visit one waitress handed us the check while we were still eating our desert as if she was rushing us off and there were plenty of empty seats, so it wasn’t a case of overcrowding. After we asked for coffee they decided to stand near watching us directly making us feel very uncomfortable, we felt like they were rushing us off. Soon my daughter decides that she wants ice cream and we felt intimidated but we got it anyway and after a few minutes the waitress came to us and ask us to pay the bill. I told her I was going to pay using the credit card at the door but she asked me for my credit card in an imposing manner and I caved in. She took the card and walked to the cashier and billed me. Looking back now I feel so embarrassed because she insulted me and I gave in. I even left them a $5.00 bill for tip. I spotted the older girl laughing and now I realize that I should have spoken to the manager. This waitress was outright rude!
