Decent meal and service at a fairly new place in Sumter. Always felt like the quality of food didn’t quite match up with the price paid. But that may have changed since we moved away. The wind and alcohol list was always a treat.
This place has a wine list for days. House selection is impressive for the value, but if you’re looking to spend on a really good bottle, check the proprietors reserve list. Great Experience. This has to be one of the better restaurants that Sumter has t offer. Visiting from Atlanta, we decided n having an Anniversary party for our parents. None of our party had been to the restaurant prior to Sat January 24th. Our party consisted of 33 people roughly and I must say that the staff at Willie Sues, handled it with perfection. From seating to ordering the drinks to presenting the entrees!! They were organized and did not show any frustration as we hustled and bustled to keep the party of 30 in so the staff could handle their business. The food was excellent and all of our party agreed it was delicious. We applaud the Staff!! All in all, Willie Sues….whenever I am in Sumter, my family and I will visit the restaurant. It has to be if not the best, one of the best restaurants in Sumter!!!! Keep up the good work!
Robert & Clara. Our first visit with visiting daughter and son-in-law from NC. We were impressed with the warm reception, short wait, wonderful food, and personnel were informative friendly and warm. It will definitely be on our list to come again and soon!We rate this five stars from us. Wonderful addition to Sumter dining!A nice touch from our server : come back another time for dessert and coffee. A unique and wonderful idea.
Food and service was excellent. Our meal took 45 minutes due to a printer error so the manager covered our meal. We will come back.
Great New Steak House!. I haven’t had dinner here, but we did stop in for lunch. The Dagwood and Beck’s Roast Beef Sandwich were wonderful! My wife and I split the two sandwiches so we both could sample more than one dish. Their fried pickles are hand battered and fresh as ever! Their fries are delicious and are steak cut with the skins on them. I had the mashed sweet potatoes and they were great with a hint of brown sugar. I can’t wait to go for dinner!
