I posted a review of this so called bartender’s (jojo, what a dumb name) (real name joann) attitude, mixology, and disposition when my friends and i had the pleasure at the sunup tavern in socastee. the worse bartender we have ever met! she could’nt mix a drink to save her life! her attitude was horrible! definitly not bartender material! my friends and i go to the sundown for sunday football, davey, my friend i promise you if this person is behind the bar, even just serving tables, my friends and i will have to find another place for the games. no threats! 10 of your sundays best, gone. jojo was so bad, 2nd chances, no way, no how!11 Sep, 2013The worse bartender in myrtle beach works here & her name is jojo (joann). The so called bartender made the worse cocktails i have ever tasted! she was very unpleasent, moody & short spoken. she told me her name was jojo short for joann and that she hated this dump and wished she could just go home! dump? she called her place of employment a dump right in front of paying customers! that will definitly bring back paying customers! i have been to alot of taverns and when i visit myrtle beach, the sun up is our place, however, i will never go in there when jojo is behind the bar. horrible service, horrible cocktails, horrible attitude, just a horrible person, period!!! find a new bartender, please!!!!!
You Know What You’re Expecting. This place is a pretty good spot for some grub. We stopped by for some breakfast after arriving in Myrtle Beach and weren’t expecting much. I suspect this would be a better spot to go to if you’re trying to beat a hangover, as the food is kind of greasy. Also, if you have a larger group of people, your food won’t come out at the same time. These issues were still minor, as the waitress was very nice and the food isn’t that expensive.
