Lifelong Resident. Great family place located in the heart of downtown Summerville. the normal menu items are just what you thought a meat and three should be. the breakfast is wonderful. I Love It.

Authentic Southern Cooking. Don’t expect frills or bells, just kick back and enjoy real, authentic southern cooking. Eva’s features classic southern diner atmosphere and simply prepared home-cooked food. The menu changes daily, but that’s about the only change you’ll find in this tiny diner off historic Main Street in downtown Summerville. True, waitresses take their time (it’s an extended-family operation) but that’s part of the no-stress atmosphere. Don’t be afraid to jump into the local conversation that will often consume 1/2 of the booths in the restaurant- locals are welcoming and the town-gossip flies all around here! I love it. Food is always freshly prepare daily. Breakfast is served 7-10:30 and lunch kicks in right around 11 and runs until 3. Monday-Friday you can get your hands on southern classics like pot roast, country fried steak, baked chicken & dressing, fried porkchops, and delicious southern fried chicken (usually in that order M-F). Their mashed potatoes are some of the best I’ve ever enjoyed and there is always an evolving variety of fresh veggies.If you’re looking for a dining experience that’ll make you stray from chain restaurants forever, Eva’s is the place to be. Stop by, you won’t regret it.

Home Cooking Family. This place has been at it since the 1940’s, doesn’t that tell you something? I ve been here a couple of times and the food is always good with good Service. All you out there —- if you are in Summerville go here.
