Excellent place to grab a beer with some friends. They have an excellent and constantly rotating selection of craft beers with an emphasis on beers brewed right here in SC. They’re always have special events with visiting local breweries. Not much in the way of food as a regular menu item but it’s definitely a great place to start or end your evening.
Horrible. My husband had been excited to try this place out. We had our two children with us. We heard that the place did not want to be perceived as a bar and when we looked in the window there were 4 other children there, so we went ahead in. They serve beer and they serve pretzels and something else, I think pizza that can be ordered from somewhere else. We ordered a root beer for my son and a pretzel. The waitress was rude and after introducing herself went straight to the bartender and we could hear her talking about us. RUDE. A couple of other friends have gone (without children) and had similar experiences. Beer and no real food? Bathrooms are a shlep – I give the place until March. Unless they add to the menu and get rid of the rudeness… I am not sure where they think they are… they are in SUMMERVILLE. We don’t tolerate rudeness.
