Ive moved, but always come back to Pad Thai 1. The food is EXCELLENT! Try a new dish each time I’m there. Was just there last week while visiting Summerville.Ill be in Summerville in a few week’s and I know I will definitely have a meal there.The chef is adorable. Always comes out and gives my friend and I a hug.The sticky rice – mango dessert is to die for!!!!!
About time in Summerville!. Only complaint is that they need a larger space! So yummy! Just try it, you won’t regret it. So fresh! I got the crispy stuffed shrimp rolls and beef noodle soup.
Pick Thai just like Basil. Love this place. So glad we actually found not just a good restaurant near home, but a good Thai one! Ambiance is nice. Server was nice. Food was great. We had the fresh spring rolls, beef pad kee mow, and chicken curry. Then for dessert, the mango and sticky rice. Everything was great. The FIRST thing I thought of when I not only saw the menu options, but then tried the food was the expensive option of the restaurant Basil in Mt. P. or downtown Charleston. Very similar yet so much closer to home and more affordable. Glad we found this place.
I’ve been here several times and haven never had a bad meal. Close your eyes and point to something on the menu. It will be delicious. Very friendly staff, always smiling. Place is very small, but cozy. Enjoy the train that comes by and shakes the entire restaurant.
Great food and staff. Try to go there when I am in Summerville. The wait staff is super friendly and helpful. The last time we had Janie as a waitress. The food is always fresh and great tasting.
Stopped in one night after deciding to try something local. Very surprised with the taste of the food. Very flavorful, very good. Took it to go as the restraunt is very small and there is not a lot of sitting room. But that didn’t matter to us. We have been back and the food was just as good as the first time. Go try it for yourself!
Delish!! We ordered take out and were completely impressed. the portions sides were perfect. Very authentic. comparable to my experiences on the West coast. will definetly go again.
