Spectacular. First and foremost the building is very intriguing. After questioning our waiter about the history of the building, which it turns out it used to be an actual Icehouse, he then proceed to take our drink order. The have an unimaginable amount of liquors, over 500 I believe. The drinks came out very quickly. We then got an appetizer of artichoke and spinach which was amazing. Then our meals came out I ordered the Cajun Pasta, which is a most try if you haven’t before, and my husband got the wrapped salmon, which he equally enjoyed. Needless to say we will definitely come back to the restaurant. between the amazing food and great service this has become one of our favorite restaurants.

Bad!!!!! Avoid It!!!. I took my Wife and my Dad here for our anniversary, we arrived and 345pm, hmm seems we got the lunch menu rather than the dinner menu that starts at 4pm, we only realized this after the table next to us who were seated after 4pm ordered ribeye, hmmm not on our menu…I ordered the Petite Filet Mignon, petite is the operative word, size of a golfball, perhaps a little larger, roast potatoes & vegetables, well the steak was cooked ok, but the potatoes were burnt and the squash was still VERY crisp, or RAW, you decide…My Wife ordered a country fried steak, mashed potatoes and veg, hmm 5 mins after the order, waitress came out, sorry we’ve run out of mashed potatoes, what would you like, so she had roast, hmmm when it came out, same as mine, burnt, and the country fried steak and a VERY weird sour taste….she left most of it…Dad ordered the buttermilk fried chicken…. you guessed it…Burnt…..This has to be one of the WORST restaurants I’ve been to in a long time….My Wife asked the waitress about the menu, she said oh yeah you had the lunch menu, dinner menu doesn’t start until 4pm, but you’ll know for next time!!! I piped up and said there won’t be a next time…… 0/5 Stars…. DONT GO THERE!!!!

Three times – place is good. I love the look of this place, the menu is small but good and that is a good thing so you don’t get caught up in a menu that has 6 different chicken dishes. Staff all three times I have gone was good. I have tried three different entrees and all were satisfying although I would not say that any where among the best that I have but the thing is that they have never come close to bombing and so in the end this place is great for date night and to bring your friends from out of town.I have (4) favorite places for date night in Summerville and this place is one of them.

This place is phenomenal. Literally, best salad I’ve ever had in my life. Arguably the best filet mignon I’ve ever had as well. Really a unique atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and extremely reasonable prices!! Can’t recommend it more!

Came in for dinner and had to wait for a table which was no big deal. Sat down and was greeted by a very nice waitress that took care of us. She explained the specials and recommended the soup of the day which was a creamy tomato with goat cheese. We ordered fried green tomatoes with a ham gravy that complimented the tartness well. And I ordered a bowl of the soup of the day and the icehouse salad. The soup was amazing and the salad was really good. It really hit the spot! My friends said everything was sooooo good! Thank you to the chefs at the icehouse restaurant! I’m definitely going back!!!

One Inch Breading. Went to Icehouse hoping for a delicious dinner. Sadly, it was not delicious. There was thick breading on almost everything- pork chops, lobster tails (didn’t think that was even possible). The salad contained thick goatcheese with too much croutons and beets? yah. There was too much salt in everything also. The choice of music was more the kind you’d hear at a 70’s rock concert and way too loud. Don’t think we’ll be back.

Lousy dinner out for us. My wife and I went here for Valentine’s dinner. Seemed very nice old style ambiance and brick fireplace at first, friendly waitress. However, as opposed to some holiday appropriate music overhead, like romantic Sinatra, Andy Williams or jazz type upbeat tunes, the music kept BLARING sad, depressing, minor key scream shouting 70’s junk that made one feel we were about to sail off the edge of the universe or something, it felt like sitting in the 3rd row of some loud, unending screechy 70’s rock concert. Then, the capper was the huge disappointment of the lobster tails that were so heavily breaded you could barely tell there was actually some lobster underneath it all, let alone taste it.If I want to spend a dinner feeling like I’m in the front row of some loud, screechy rock concert, and don’t care if what I order tastes anything like it usually does, there’s a slim chance we might come back, maybe 4 or 5 lifetimes from now.
