Nice place. I like to come here some nights after work to get a beer and their cheese fritters. Staff is always nice and welcoming. Some of their dinners are too expensive, but everything I’ve ever tried has tasted great. If you live near downtown Summerville it’s definitely worth checking out.
Not impressed!. Food was OK. Atmosphere was VERY noisy, music needs to be toned down. Staff wasn’t behaving very professional….one cook was sitting by a table outside the kitchen taking a long break (right across from us, watching us eat ??), wait staff loudly chit-chatting to each other, hostess/waitress standing on chair to change menu board from lunch specials to dinner while another read out loud to her as they discussed it (perhaps two boards would be better, pre-written and just swapped quietly) and another cook came out of kitchen area to bar area carrying a loaded caulk gun. ? My husband ordered soup he never got. Had to ask for silverware/napkin.Needless to say, won’t be going back…
Great place and great food. Love the people. I love the Cheese fritters, chocolate mousse, and Tuscan grilled cheese, and we’ll everything. I can go a day without masterbating but I can’t go a day without chocolate mousse. great people!
Cold, tasteless food. We had a party of four and all of our food was terrible. The buffalo chicken dip appetizer taste like velvetta cheese. The portabella mushroom burger was so soggy the bun was dripping. We showed the waitress the bun and instead of offering to make another one she brought us a cold untoasted bun on a saucer for us to put the burger back together on. We couldn’t wait to try the place but sorry we did.
The food was like eating cardboard. The lamb was way over cooked and it’s like eating cardboard. I will never dine there again.
My wife and I had lunch here for the first time today. She had the French dip sandwich which was really good. I had the Ruben sandwich but was not impressed, did not have much taste. Staff was great and friendly. We want to return another time for dinner. Definitely worth another try!!!
Terrible Dining Experience. Sorry, but I don’t know what all the hype is about. This place was terrible! My wife and I went on a Monday evening. They were out of fries and steak! How do you run out of those things? It’s not even like the restaurant was packed. There were maybe only two other tables dining. Anyways, I order the Lamb medium rare, it’s brought out well done and as dry as the Sahara. I saw pictures online for this place with thick, succulent medium rare lamb, and instead I got thin slivers of dry, tasteless meat. My wife ordered the curried shrimp (which were not devained, eww!) with jasmine rice. If that was jasmine rice, then I’m the Prince of Whales. It was cheap plain white rice. My wife did not like the flavor at all. She said she had no idea a curry could be that bland. One the plus side, the waitress, while not the fastest in the world, was very kind and offered to send back the dishes. By that time we had both lost our appetites, so we just paid and left. We will not be coming back.
