Gorgeous place, delicious wine and great food! The service was pretty standard, but no complaint otherwise–they even had a vegetable sandwich option! Pretty rare for a steak place. A refreshing change from the over-the-top steakhouses- a classier, calm option AND a fireplace in the middle you can sit by!
Ate there tonight and was disappointed. Atmosphere was great but the food left a lot to be desired. All 3 of us had steaks – prime rib was ok, ribeye was mediocre and top sirloin was tough and overcooked. Maybe I’m biased being an Iowan and growing up with corn fed beef. Salad was just ok – viniagrette was a little odd and dinner rolls were tough. The best thing – my baked potato and the water. Had better steaks in a lot of other places. For the price I expected a lot better quality. And seriously – $32 for prime rib and you only get 1 side?? I’d pass on this place and won’t recommend it to anyone.

I travel on business and always do my return the next morning, so I can do an evening here.
