I know that franchise restaurants don’t normally get a good review, but Denny’s is pretty good value for money. And they understand gluten free and can adapt a lot of their dishes. A big step forward from my first experience with them three years ago when they told you what INGREDIENTS were gluten free and you had to work out what was in your food, now they have moved forward to the 21st century and labelled their menus so you can see at a glance what you can have and what you can’t. Meals are generous sizes, and you get refills of coffee and soft drink, so it isn’t bad for what it is.

Absolutely sucked. We had ordered our food and we didn’t even get what we ordered. And what we got wasn’t even good. The guy we had as a waiter had only been working there for three days. Don’t send a guy out if he isn’t trained!
THE WORST. Razer thin bacon, no syrup with the pancakes, rancid butter on the toast, nearly an hour to get fed, no coffee for over 20 minutes, small portions, crappy service, ham was ham-like sort of. we left and went to another place.
Don’t go at night during the build your own pancakes special when you have the option to pick what’s inside them. It was like our waitress had never read the menu and then argued she had never seen anyone order that way. She over charged us for sauce(we didn’t get), the mix in which one was free(part of the build your own special), then double for a basket of fries & she didn’t bring out butter or syrup because she didn’t think he’d want any… My husband was paying and didn’t want to argue so we didn’t say anything but we sure wont go again during the evening she had no common sense. Hopefully they clean the floors a little better at night too!
I’m a fan of Denny’s in general, in part because it is usually reliable and my kids like it. This one was disappointing. Service was OK, but the food arrived only lukewarm (except the skillet ). It was reheated on request. The slow-cooked pot roast was terrible, being mostly mashed potatoes and the gravy was nasty. It won’t stop me going to other Denny’s but I won’t visit this one again
