As others have said, it is a little pricey. But if you’re just going for sushi, I’d highly recommend happy hour. Comparing their sushi to cheaper places in the area, I’d say it’s worth it even at full price though.I certainly wouldn’t consider the hibachi/entrees authentic, but they are very tasty. I usually get a table, but the whole hibachi thing is pretty fun.Wait staff is polite albeit a little rushed, but I’ve never been when they weren’t busy. And they’re busy here for good reason! Wait times are always reasonable (even for picking up take-out). Overall it’s a really great place.
We got here more than any other restaurant! We go to the rushmore mall location. The last time we went the service was pretty slow, but the food is so good, we couldn’t mind! The place is a bit dated and dark, but adds to the charm. We’ve never had anything we don’t love. I esp love the tempura, the peanut avocado and phoenix rolls! My partner got the ‘most spicy’ heart attack roll but didn’t think it was very spicy.AND THEY HAVE BUBBLE TEA! 🙂
Came here again accidentally four years later. My experience five years ago was bad. Once again after walking in I realized I had been here before. Thought it was worth a second shot since it had a good review overall. The main problem was service. The sever had two many tables for one thing. He took our order without writing it down. I only received a little over half of what I ordered. Some one from the kitchen literally dumped off the food and walked off. I had to wave the server down to get refills and he was budding tables while I was nearby chocking on food without a drink. His arrogance of trying to take an order including a dozen different types of sushi, multiple meals, soups, salads and appetizer with out paper or a paper sushi menu fit perfect with what I find at the abundance of strip mall hibachi and sushi restaurants. For overpriced food you expect a lot more. The sushi I did get was all very small cut and tasted flat and no where near fresh. Find somewhere better.
