  The floor was dirty. The fried rice was hard. They advertised prime rib, what a joke.It looked like overly boiled steak soaking in gravy. And they charge $10.49 for the buffet. Thats more than what I paid back home at a much nicer place. One visit is more than enough.

  The food here us average, some good things some are not. The cleanliness is TERRIBLE!!! This is our first time coming here and it will be our last. I would rate this place a 2 out of 10.

  Terrible. My wife and I went here for dinner, I had been craving some Chinese food for awhile and I heard that this place wasn’t too bad. Being from California, near SF, we didn’t get our hopes to high seeing how it’s a Chinese restaurant in South Dakota, but what we got was far worse than I could’ve guessed. The Golden Fortune is a buffet style restaurant with a wide variety of items to choose from, what there’s wasn’t a wide variety of was flavor. Everything was dry and lacked any real flavor, and what flavor there was left me wishing it what I had just ate was as bland as the rest of the food. I will however say this, their hot and sour soup was pretty good, but that is not enough to warrant another visit. There may be good Chinese food to be had in Rapid, but this is not the place to find it.

  I love this place, it’s not for the buffet it’s because they have pho soup! It is amazing and the only place in town to get it.
