Great Beers. If you want a great selection of beers in a laid back atmosphere then Independent Ale House is your place. Their food menu is limited to brick oven pizza, but the pizza is good. Give the place a try.
A must for beer lovers. They have a huge selection of brews on tap, and bartender was very helpful in finding something you’d like. To my surprise the pizza was great, I doubt one can find better pizza in Rapid City.
Great place if your into good craft beers. They also have a nice selection of wines. The pizzas are fantastic. We had the Hasslehof and a baked potato. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about their beer. They all have a unique sense of humor that makes you feel like they’ve known you for years. Not the place for you if you take yourself too seriously.
This place has a great selection of craft beers and some really tasty pizzas. However, you shouldn’t be surprised if you aren’t able to flag a waitress down to get your order. I recently went to the Ale House with a friend and sat with empty drinks for over 25 minutes. It was not particularly busy, and it almost seemed as if our table was being intentionally overlooked since we watched our server check on many tables with completely full drinks and then zoom past ours while looking the other direction. Be sure to not start your tab with the server with the long blond hair!
