Good service, generous portions and great value. Had the Southern Pork omelets with hash Browns and toast. Enjoyed the spiciness of the BBQ. Hash Browns were golden brown and perfect in taste. Service was great. Kept our drinks full and took very good care of us. Overall I’d say Marlin’s Family Restaurant is a great place for breakfast.
No service. We went to eat there last night at Marlins Family Restaurant (the Windmill). After being seated and being told Carter would be right with us we perused the menu. After 25 minutes No one approached up or even bothered to look our way. There were two waitstaff in our area. We chose to leave and go to another restaurant to eat.
Marlins restaurant in Rapid City. We live in Rapid City and ate at Marlins two times so far. Both times the food and the service has been fantastic. Not any complaints whatsoever. Monday night is half price on all the hamburger meals. For 4.50 we had a 1/3 pound burger that was covered with barbequed pulled pork. It came with our choice of fries or baked potatoes, a salad and vegetables. Plus a large drink. How can you beat that for 4.50. I cannot imagine anyone complaining about the food or service at this restaurant.
Excellent Service. My wife and I travel to Rapid City and the Black HIlls frequently to visit relatives and to see the sights. We also make yearly trips to Wyoming. Each time we are in the area, we make it a point to eat at Marlin’s. The last couple of times we were there, we were escorted to our table by your general manager, Thomas. I must tell you, we were very impressed by his courtliness, his courtesy and his manners. He checked with us periodically to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and was quick to remedy anything that was not. We noticed he treats his staff with respect and seems to have the place running like a well-oiled machine. He is a vast improvement over past management…oh, and the food was excellent, too!
Best Kept Secret in Sturgis. I have eaten now 3 times at Marlins Family Restaurant, compared to the other places in Sturgis during bike week, this place is great. The food was great, the prices reasonable & the service excellent. The best part was that I didn’t have to wait an hour to get a lousy & expensive meal. All you bikers should check it out it is right across from Black Hills Harley Davidson right next to the gas station. I found it by accident. Just wish I had found it sooner.
