If I were rating solely on the food, I might give a 3 or 3.5, but the service was rushed and we seemed to be treated as if tourists were an imposition that distracted from the regulars. Our waiter/bartender was in the mold of the stereotypical wasted potential, smarmy, better-than-thou guy who barely had time to wait for us to order. I had to get my ketchup from some girls at a nearby table. I imagine he probably hates tourists, but he needs us tourists more than we need to eat in his employers establishment. I had the Reuben which was actually pretty good. My son had the fries with pulled pork on them and loved them. My wife had the pretzels with the beer-cheese sauce which I tried and I have to say was pretty good. However, it is not like this place was so special that one should put up with blatant disdain in order to be served. My advice is if you are a well-stacked, slender twenty something girl, you might get awesome service and really enjoy this place. If you are an overweight, forty-something man who would rather skip attitude from a bartender who harbors resentment towards the 85% of the population who are more successful than him, this place is a waste of your time.

Potentially a charming hole in the wall, but I won’t be going back. The waitress was very quick at first but as it got busier was increasingly neglectful. We got the dirty chips and when I asked what the ‘house spices’ were (because they looked and tasted plain) the waitress didn’t know and said they were ‘just our house chips’. Flavorless, I ordered sweet potato fries which were MUCH better. Chips and dip and wings platters pleased; well presented and portioned for the happy hour price. The guac was rather flavorless, sadly. As it got busier it got louder and harder to hear, so we left. I can see why college crowd would like this joint, but I wouldn’t return for the food or atmosphere.

Good good, good service, terrific drink selection. Gets a bit crowded and noisy but it’s a bar. Wouldn’t bring a first date, but I would bring a friend.

This place was right in the Hotel Alex Johnson and made finding the best food, very easy!Their burgers were amazing. Juicy, cooked perfectly and with great flavor. Do not forget the candied bacon. Only a dollar add-on and I could eat it by the pound. Great fries, good atmosphere and they have lunch specials, too.Well done!

Rude. Took twenty minutes for the first drink. Used coupons that came with our tickets from the ball game and received attitude and ridicule out loud from the waitor as well as management. If you don’t want people to use their coupons, don’t give them out at basketball games.

I am continually disappointed by this establishment. The last time I came here, I stood at the bar for 10 minutes waiting to order a drink while four bartenders stood right in front of me chatting. I understand that if the conversation is something important to the operation of the bar, I may have to wait, but PLEASE acknowledge my presence at the very least.I don’t hold bar food to a very high standard, so the fact that I say that the food here is terrible says a lot. Sliced American singles over stale wontons is not my idea of a good nacho. And the drinks aren’t much better. Simple drinks that all bartenders should be able to execute, like a White Russian, seem to be just too much for some of their staff to wrap their heads around. All in all…disappointing.
