Friendly staff, okay pricing, and that’s where the positives end. The sushi wasn’t bad, just meh. The plum wine was way too sweet. Unlikely to be using my Sumo punch card.
Best Asian food I have had in the area great sushi with amazing prices and decent size also ordered one of there rice bowls rice was perfect sauce was amazing chicken fried to perfection with amazing service they were kind and happy and cheap beer I think I just found my new favorite place to eat
Great atmosphere and food. This is the first place I’ve ever eaten sushi at, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Friends with more experience than I also said that it was very good. I had the Hurricane Roll, and some of the Crunch and Spider Rolls as well. All of it was delicious. The service was acceptable. I don’t like how they serve soda in cans rather than glasses, especially because that means lack of refills. The food took awhile, but we were a large group, and it was a Thursday night.Overall, a great experience. The food was good, and I’m excited to go back in the future and try more. Also, they take Grubby Gold, which is a plus for students at Mines.
Great food at a very reasonable price! Well worth the money! We will be back soon.
Chicken Yakisoba. Japanese style noodles stir fried with chicken, green onions, strips of cabbage, carrot, and red and green bell peppers. Soy sauce and broth bring it all together. A simple but satisfying meal.
Most authentic Japanese kitchen in town.. They have the fresh sushi, and other cooked dishes. Beer on tap, kegs to go. Also it is in the old Hall Inn completely remodeled inside, awesome!
Fast and tasty lunch – 4 Stars. Stopped for lunch. Had Pork Gyoza appetizer. Six pieces, pork filling very good. Fried to a light and crispy golden brown. Recommend.Had the Aloha Chicken Bowl as an entree. Which is panko fried chicken strips with a sweet chili glaze. Very good. Sweet and a hint of heat. They provided additional hot sauce which tasted like a mix of buffalo wing sauce and siriacha sauce mixed together. Extremely good. All bowl dishes were served with white rice, brown rice or udon noodles. The rice or noodles then has fresh carrots, spinach and bean sprouts on the side. Everything was served hot and fresh. I was very happy with my meal and would return.
