Good food, but not worth a second visit.
Review revoked. I had initially commented a bout the bearded snyde bartender…I was there. The mentioned patron was drunk and rude and treated with dignity and respect. However, I think that Thirsty’s is normally a quiet, smooth operating bar. When busy due to music or trivia, the normally friendly bartenders become busy and slightly busy….overall the best bunch of staff who will remember your name in town…..
Poor Bartender. I was there a few nights ago – a bearded bartender was very rude and snyde. Wow to be a jerk like that and even have a job in the service industry? Really? I Wont go back! I’ll go across the street or anywhere but there! People dont need to be like that!!!
I have lived I’m Rapid for 25 yrs Thirstys was the first non smoking pub we started going there and we loved it. We always take our friends who come to town to visit because they are so darn friendly and the food is wonderful and the beer is always ice cold.
Wish we had one here!. We stopped in on our way to Mount Rushmore with our kids. I had the Oriental Chicken Salad and loved it! My husband had the Buffalo Burger and loved the authentic South Dakota meat! The servers were all very helpful and gave us great tips on touristy things to do in the area. We’ll definitely stop back in the next time we are in South Dakota, which is hopefully sooner than later!
Regular. Thirsty’s is one of rapid city’s best kept secrets. Awesome food!! From appetizers to juicy steaks and everything in between. Great entertainment on weekends, live music. Thirsty’s is family friendly and has always been and always will be smoke free. Conveniently located downtown on Main St. Coldest beer in RApid City and outdoor dining.
