Won’t be Back!. What a disappointment! Applebee’s used to be that place you could count on for great service and consistently good food. What happened? We visited today for lunch. The salads we ordered looked nothing like the menu photo. Lame and over priced. Our server was a joke…disappeared repeatedly. When the manager finally stopped by our table, we asked if our server had gone home. The manager never apologized for the terrible service, just made lame excuse and walked away. We will not be back.
If you get off on feeling like you’re ruining someone’s day, paying twice as much as the food is worth, and raising your cholesterol this is the place for you! They have very little to no flexibility for people with dietary needs or preferences, none of the servers who have waited on me show any interest in being there, and one of my friends even had our server write her own tip on her credit card receipt! I’ve never seen a restaurant that doesn’t want to do good business like Applebee’s doesn’t want to do good business.
Will never go back. We have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant! We got nasty looks from the staff and they were just plain rude. Food was blah. One waitress was walking around with a cigarette tucked behind her ear and wreaked of smoke. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere
Applees’s at the Mall Needs Help. Just got done spending 2 hours at the new Applebee’s in the Empire Mall. Service is terrible and no one in the joint seems to care that it takes 25 minutes to get a drink and over an hour to get food. If your not happy with that, just try and get your bill. They’ll take 15% into the final cost because they know you wouldn’t tip otherwise. Stay away from this place until they get things figured out, it was a painful visit.
Quality & taste have gone downhill. Applebee’s was one of my favorite places to have lunch. Then I noted that garnishes & sides were left off the plate and the dishes didn’t resemble the menu representations. Everything seemed to taste like garlic salt and refills were hard to come by. It’s not a cheap place to eat, considering the menu. I probably will not go back.
I like most of the food but generally the service isn’t great and sometimes the order isn’t right but other that it’s clean and and a good atmosphere
