I waited 39 minutes for three tacos tonight. I waited patiently and only asked about my order only after four people behind me were all served. They said it’s coming. Then someone else who ordered after me was served three tacos and I was still waiting. I asked for a refund. They were so cheap that they would not refund all my money. They kept the money for the small drink I sipped on for 39 minutes waiting for my tacos.
I’m a big fan of mexican food and was excited for this place. This is probably one of the most authentic tasting among the restaurants in the area. However, their food safety practices are severely lacking. The restaurant was very, very dirty when i visited (3 times), the meat in my tacos smelled bad, and there was a weird smell coming out of the kitchen (something rotten). I kept giving them a try but the third time I ate there, my kids and I had really bad diarrhea so that was the end for me.
Great location, kudos for re-using an existing site with much visibility. First visit was adequate, not much more. As a rule, reviewers do not seriously examine a place in the first 30-60 days or so, we will be back soon Gilberto!Looking forward to chiles relleno and much much more, Bienvienidas to Sioux Falls. Looking forward to comida Mejicanos in the near future.
Chili Rellenos. Not bad, but not good enough to bring me back. There was no meat in the chili’s and they were not warm enough to melt the cheese. I had a side of refried beans which were very good, but still not very warm. I guess they didn’t leave them in the microwave long enough.
4 rolled tacos. Lots and lots of beans and rice covered with cheese and 4 very small rolled taquitos with a big dollop of guacamole. I had to eat the beans and rice to get full. Did I mention lots and lots of beans and rice.
