For fifteen years, a group of friends have met at Hardees for a brisk, one-hour early morning walk. Afterwards we gather for coffee, conversation and laughter and along the way have gained the friendship of the hospitable staff and other early risers. Last week, mid walk, we were caught in an unexpected brutal hailstorm. Scrambling to find some form of shelter, we noticed a car quickly approaching and soon a familiar voice pronounced, Get in. John, the assistant manger of Hardees had come to our rescue. Today we send our gratitude to John and the many employees of the Hardees on Minnesota Avenue. You are outstanding human beings and offer kindness and hospitality to all your guests. We are honored to call you family.
